What's going on at Hokuriku University?

Hiya, welcome to Hokudai/Cast's blog. This is a blog written by anyone who wants to learn Japanese, English, or Chinese.

If you are interested in any of these languages, please listen to the Hokudai/Cast podcast (インタネットラジオ) at hokudaicast.net.

But today, the question is: what's going on at Hokuriku University?

First, last week we had an explanation lecture about learning English. In China. Yes, there are excellent schools in China that teach more than just one language. Some of our students are in China (Masumi, who often sends us interviews with her co-students, is studying English in China). Masumi is studying both English and Chinese. She says it's not as difficult as she thought because both English and Chinese have similar grammar. Naturally, pronunciation is difficult, but not grammar.

explanation lecture (『説明会』かな?)
grammar (文法)
not as difficult (『そんなに難しくない』かな?)
pronunciation (発音)

And movies. Soon I'll get the schedule for FREE MOVIES at Hokuriku University. I know "Pirates of the Caribbean" is one of the movies (no, not the new one). And maybe "Harry Potter." I'll check and get back to you.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, click on コメント and send a message. In Japanese, Chinese, or English.
